![]() ![]() I spent the last 2-3 days trying to import Daz 3D characters in Unity and another game engine. Is that the solution? Remove lines of code that have HDRP in it? I think that I was able to open up whatever was causing it in Visual Studio. But Unity wouldn't let me go into Play mode until I got rid of that HDRP error message. I didn't notice any problems in the textures or materials. So I just want to know, is it possible to import and use Daz 3D characters in Unity without the HDRP? And if so, how do I get around that error message? When I imported the Daz 3D character in URP, the character looked fine. I prefer just the regular templates that use URP or whatever. But I really don't like the lighting of HDRP. And the Daz 3D character import worked with no error messages. So I went ahead and used a HDRP template - the 3D Sample Scene (HDRP) in 2020 LTS and the 3D (HDRP) in 2021.2.9. And since I saw some Daz To Unity tutorials online in which they used an HDRP template, I just assumed that I needed HDRP. On closer examination, the error message had something to do with HDRP. I was able to do it easily in the other engine, but Unity threw an error every time. ![]() ![]()
